Visual artist and poet, Gabriel Lalonde takes his images and words around the world. His works have been exhibited mainly in Quebec, Canada, the United States, England, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland and France. They have illustrated several books and are part of private and public collections.

In 2010 and 2011, he presented two major solo exhibitions based on the texts of Gaston Miron's L'Homme rapaillé: Tableau de paroles (Festival de la Poésie, Trois-Rivières) and Poèmes visibles (Festival de Littérature de Montréal). In October 2016, he was invited by curator Dr. Astarte Rowe to be part of the An Ameobic Exhibition Minima Aesthetica in Toronto. In 2011, he is the guest of honour at the Rencontre des Arts contemporains in Knowlton and in 2012, at the Festival de la Parole Poétique (Brittany).




He will be the first Canadian artist to be rewarded in Switzerland by the Art Forum: he receives the Prix de la Ville de Montreux (2005) and the Jury Prize (2007). In 2018, he presented Le geste est une parole, a landmark exhibition at the Centre d'art Diane-Dufresne in Repentigny. That same year, he participated in the 36th Poetry Market in Paris, did an artist residency followed by an exhibition, L'Emblâcle, at Maison Félix Leclerc (Vaudreuil Dorion) and exhibited (collectively) at Galerie L'Œil écoute in Lyon, France (Passages et traces d'art), exhibition resumed in 2019 at the Louise-Carrier Gallery (Lévis). He presents, Le temps dérape, (collective) at the Galerie de La Ville de Dollard des Ormeaux, exhibits at the Salon d'Automne (collective) at Galerie les Trois C (ville LaSalle). In 2019, he presented Si petits entre les étoiles... (Manif9 satellite) at the Bécot gallery (Quebec) and J'écris des images with Francine Vernac at the Centre culturel Le Chenail (Hawkesbury).

Archive Contemporary is a fine art gallery based in Montreal. The gallery provides a platform for established and emerging artistic talent, promoting visibility through monthly group and solo exhibitions.
