Francois Olliviers is a freelance photographer living in Montreal.

Born in the south of France, Ollivier moved to work and live in Montreal, Canada in 2011. Coming from an advertising background before switching to photography,  he now focuses on creating compelling narrative imagery that inspire a sense of mystery and nostalgia. His creative process is based on observation and magnification of  day to day occurences, especially those which offer a window into an endearing, enigmatic world.
“My approach is based on wandering and accepting the impromptu. I use photography to make simple factual observations and also to gather people, places, lines or lights in a setup that will exist only once.”

Ollivier’s clients include The New York Times, The Washington Post, Monocle Magazine, Condenast Traveler, Cossette Agency, Cloudraker Agency, Pratt & Whitney Canada.
